Your '36 PU has spiral bevel gears and the '50-'54 Car rear ends are hypoid so swapping in the gears is not an option.

Swapping in the whole rear end probably won't work either because of differences in track, spring mounting method, driveshaft length, driveshaft splines not matching your U-joint and 5 vs. 6 lugs.

You might consider a '37 car rear end and swapping in the gears you want. That will eliminate some of the problems.
