Have seen a number of various carburetors "reproduced" offshore over the last few years.

So far, the ONLY one I have seen that is useful for more than a paperweight is the model 97 made in England. They had some "teething" issues in the beginning, but a very reputable company, and now have a very useable product.

But if you enjoy rebuilding engines, go for the offshore reproductions!

And Bart - if you ever do a side by side comparison of an AFB clone to a genuine AFB, you will drop your third "gimme" wink
