i have a very small leak coming from the coupling
on my '51 1/2 ton pickup's driveshaft. I have tighted it, but there is some seepage. My "semi-mechanic" tells me there is a simple split gasket that fits inside the shaft that would not require the shaft to be removed. None of the parts catalogs / sites refer to a driveshaft gasket. Is he on the right track, and ideas where i can find one?
