You might have an older clutch assembly (to match the 1950 assembly) or a later clutch assembly (to match the 1956 assembly).
Is you truck 6v or 12v? Is your starter 6v or 12v?
I think you should pull the transmission and then remove the clutch assembly (keep the the throwout/release bearing). Buy an entire clutch assembly to match what you find.
