I think 1934 was the last year Chevrolet had factory painted Black Fenders standard on all trucks regardless of the body color.

I know through the years the factory did special paint combo's for large Fleet buyers and for the general public, the dealers did whatever it took to make the sale. There are lots of later year examples with black fenders that may be called "factory original" that are really not...
