Hi all,
I have been searching through the forums and haven't had my question answered. So, working through the brakes and suspension this winter. I started on the front passenger end and noticed a little wiggle when I try to shake the drum. The tie rod ends are not loose, pulled the drum off, everything seems okay there (will replace bearings anyway). Pulled brakes and wheel cylinder off and will rebuild those. The little wiggle is still there. It seems that the wiggle is when I push/pull the top or bottom of the brake plate. So, I believe that is a bushing around the kingpin (still digging out the dirt/grease). From what I have read that is not a good thing to have and a new kingpin/bushings are needed. However, since I have a big bolt I have the special bushings that if replaced they get reamed out to the proper size. Then as I continue to search through the forums it seems these tools are next to impossible to find. So finally my question: where/how do I rebuild this thing to fix the little wiggle?
Thanks
Thanks,
