I have read most of the posts on this subject but most seem to be for trucks sitting outside. My 51 is kind of driver quality but it is rarely wet and is parked inside a heated basement. I am installing Classic Parts yellow pine boards but I do not want them black. Should I use marine spar varnish for a long life under these circumstances? How many coats? Really the only time it gets wet is on wash day. I assume I need UV protection even though it is only driven maybe 2-3 times a month. (I enjoy the work on it maybe more than the driving}
