| | | | Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 4,095 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 4,095 | wingnut nice truck . but i noticed that you don't have a heat riser plate and maybe you don't need one where you live. i just put one on a couple of weeks ago and it made a world of difference in the throttle response. go to my community web site and you can see it. not a pretty site but it works. i also purchased an s-10 trans i will have it installed soon. i went to yahoo and put in s10 transmission and found a good site. i hope i don't have to go to all the trouble he went to. william schicklings 1940 truck page. he also has a 235 in the 1940.
