Yes, probably. Try installing a coolant recovery tank so the overflow gets sucked back into the radiator as the engine cools down again. That can also be caused by keeping the radiator overfilled- - - -leave a couple of inches of expansion room in the top tank, with the coolant just above the level of the tubes.
