The rubber strip mounts inside the chrome strip and has the fasteners moulded into the rubber. You can buy the whole unit for around 90 bucks or like I did was just buy the rubber and mounted it in the chrome strip. I think i got mine from steele rubber or chevs of the 40's. If you can't find them there let me know and I will look for the bill
