I put a 1959 235 engine in my 1949 Chevrolet pickup.
It is a bear when it is cold. I have put in new points, condenser, distributor cap, vacuum advance, plugs, wires, rebuilt the rochester B carb twice, and it still gives me fits when it is cold. It sits there and idles beautifully and it runs much better when it finally warms up, but it still feels as though it is starving a little bit.
Any suggestions. Thanks. Would appreciate any advice.
