While spinning up the oil pump for a restart after a long spell I got to looking at the lithium looking grease in the reservoir and started wondering...
I have some 1/2" thick felt (organ servicemans gift) and decided try a 'looser' mix.
Wet the felt with MMM then worked 00' grease (steering box) into it, filled the cup 1/2 way added the wick then filled the rest of the void with 00.
My thinking is that it will flow better and not harden.
Any reasons other than possible increased maintenance to not try it?
