I'm trying to get the wipers (vacuum) back to working on my '55 second series truck. I've rebuilt, to the best of my abilities, the motor and have it back in. The trouble I'm facing is that the bezel nut tightens down and then the switch mechanism still twists and turns in the dash. I've bought a new nut, but that didn't solve anything. Anyone else ever have this? I don't recall it being an issue years and years ago when I restored this truck. Thought about putting a washer behind it to take up the slack, but that shouldn't be necessary.
