There is an outlet on the intake man. in back of the carb. A fitting goes in it to connect the hose to the trans. modulator & the power brake. The mod. uses 1/4 in hose while the pb uses 3/8. The dist connects to an out let on the carb. Some carb outlets are constant manifold vacuum while at least one is ported vacuum. Ported vacuum has vacuum only at part throttle. Use one of these for the dist. vacuum advance. 3/16 hose. It takes some research & experimenting to find which works best for your engine.
