It could be a 1965 327 or a 1969 350. The telltale sign is the journal size. The first year of large journal 327 is 1968, therefore, if the journal is small, then it's probably a 327 and if the journal is large, then you have a 350. The 327 would be a 350hp 327 and the 350 would be rated at 255hp. If you had the original cam and it was a 327, that cam would be a little radical, with almost 0.450 lift and would sound much different than a 255hp 350. What is the casting number on the back of the block?
