Shipwright I do like that color. It sure sets off the chrome, or the chrome sure sets off the red.
I don't know what all colors you use in the cab other than the red, but I think that a light tan would look good on the dash. It would have to chosen precisely or it would look terrible. Perhaps tan isn't the proper color term, kind of like unfinished leather color. If you do a Google search for "color chart tan" The resulting first hit is RGB color chart. The first tan on the chart is like the one I'm thinking of.
Such a color would be considered a neutral color and would go with a number of colors. However I don't think it would look good if you had much black showing, such as a black headliner, black steering wheel, etc.
Just a thought. Maybe I'll try it on a driver and see what it looks like.
