Just finished all new hoses and steel brake lines. On mine, there are two tees. One is on front right passenger side frame rail, right ahead of the rear engine crossmember, has three outlets, all are the same, for 3/16" steel brake lines, (I guess these would be 3/8-24 thread). Other tee is on passenger side also, right behind transmission crossmember, but it has two 3/16" outlets, and one 1/4" outlet. Both tees have the 1/2-20 shaft that sticks through the frame rail for a nut and lockwasher. According to my Chevy Service Manual, all brake lines are 3/16", except the line coming from the master cylinder, which goes to the rear tee to feed everything, and it is 1/4", (the master cylinder outlet is 1/4" also). Once I mounted all the brakes hoses, measured what lengths I needed, $40 worth of steel lines from Napa, I have all new brake lines, front to back.
Very very simple to do. For my peace of mind, I did use the coated clamps everywhere the line clamps to the frame. Positioned all so there is no chance of rubbing the frame anywhere, and the lines can't rub in the clamp.
The Factory Assembly Manual has real good pictures showing all of this in case you're not sure of the routing. I did not know what a FAM was or that it even existed, until somebody on here said something about one. Can't do without now. They were correct on one thing about it though....there is no index, table of contents, nothing.....just start flipping pages.
