| | | | Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 1,028 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 1,028 | I have just tried a rust remover that I think works pretty good. It is called "a must for rust". It smells like the "rust iradicator" that we used to remove rust stains from clothes when I worked in a drycleaner as a kid. It has an acid smell. I don't know which.
Anyway you spray this stuff on let it set, wire brush it and wipe off. If the rust is thin you see new clean metal. Where the rust is very thick the metal is now smooth and black.
Has anyone ever used a product like this? I just want to be sure if I prime and paint my frame the paint wont be blowing off down the road when I take my first drive.
