Next time, unbolt the rear motor mounts and pull the bellhousing along with the engine. It's much simpler that way. It's also safer to put a wood 4X4 through both windows and use a cable come-along to handle the transmission. That SM-420 4 speed can get deadly if it falls on you while trying to remove it from the bottom.
