The Mustang II was only made from 1974-1978 so forget about finding one in a junkyard. The Pinto was made from 1971-1980 and had THE EXACT SAME front end except a bit better design on the strut rods. The Mercury Bobcat was just a jazzed up Pinto. We put dozens of Pinto IFS units in but once installed they would magically become "Mustang II". I NEVER see a Pinto front for sale at a swap meet but have noticed that on most of the MII units for sale some dirty dog has put Pinto struts on them.
