I own several '65 & '66 Chevy's that have the factory anodized aluminum grille & side trim and factory stainless steel "Custom" cab emblems on the rear cab pillar behind the doors. I have tried everything imaginable, including buffing (using various grits & types of compounds), polishing, Flitz, chrome cleaner, aluminum cleaner, etc, to remove the cloudiness and get them looking bright and polished, to no avail. Has anyone had any success restoring the lustre to these trim pieces? I would appreciate any tricks of the trade to get them shining again. Thanks for the input.
