silver is a Very hard color to maintain.
Just look at the older mercedes and dodge vans around, paint peeling in shreads. get a good base on that silver.
BUT
their paint failure are do to the re-formulating from laquer to 'modern' paint
and
The primer was not compatable w/ the newly re-formulated paint... hence the peeling.
PREP is everything.
