Hi Folks,
I'm in the process of putting an R10 overdrive in DoughBoy (55 Grumman). I got a complete transmission (62 truck), but after disassembly and inspection, the cluster gear is a concern. So, I just pulled the SM318 from DB, which looks good.

Everything is ready to be reassembled, with a rebuild kit to arrive tomorrow. With the help of all of the information on this site, and the help of a good friend, I think I have everything I need.

Except for one thing. Is there some kind of special bolt that goes on the OD lever on the transmission? It's the one the end of the OD cable gets attached to in order to put IN and OUT of OD.
