Lots of work on Brad's part ... pure enjoyment (and references) for you!

For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 1,094 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 1,094 | My mind is running loose this morning, and I'm wondering about building another truck. I've always wanted an AD style and was thinking of using a 250 6 cyl instead of 235/261. I understand the side engine mounts would be needed, and the aluminum bell housing with the transmission (t5) with rear mount would be used. The question I need answered is, would the original clutch linkage still work with the later bell housing? Would the original cross member have to be removed?
I know I shouldn't let my mind wander unsupervised but it happens sometime. I now have a headache. Any helpful ideas would be accepted.
