I see blocks between the spring and axles all the time on trucks for lift but that is on the rear. You may be able to do the same on the front, but that may change the steering a bit. You could also try having the springs re-arc'd or having new ones made. (Gitts springs in auburn woud do that). I have also made custom spring hangers and longer shackles to raise the vehicle a bit. (did that on my Willys Wagon as well as my 59 Suburban)
