| | | | Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 486 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 486 | I looked at a 67 chevy pickup yesterday that has a factory 3 sp OD transmission. I don't know the details but the transmission has problems. The OD has been disconnected for some time and the current owner has been driving without the OD. It was that way when he bought it. I have access to a '64 chevy OD transmission which, if I remember correctly, is a different animal. My questions; are any of the OD specific parts interchangeable? Can the '64 transmission replace the '67 transmission without any major modifications? I haven't made a decision on buying the truck yet and I just want to know what my options are. Thanks for any advice.
