Are you sure about the column on '54 trucks that are not as deluxe as your two-tone "Deluxe Cab Equipment" cab (RPOs 430 & 431)? Your interior colors are truly special.
I am pretty sure (page 110 in the 1954 Chevrolet Truck Engineering Features Book) that those of us with the less deluxe cabs (including the RPO 390 Deluxe Equipment models), have black steering wheel, steering-mast jacket, and gear-shift/remote-control assembly.
