| | | | Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 622 Member | | Member Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 622 | You do NOT have sand to bare metal. That paint has been on that truck for 47 years!! It's not coming off. If you need to apply bondo, then YES sand to bare metal and use 40 grit so that the filler gets a good grip.
