Does it have the oil distributor on the drivers side, below the manifold. If not, it will be a full pressure, insert rod bearing engine with aluminum pistons (originally came with a Powerglide transmission in cars in '53). A quick tell for this engine is the presence of captain's bars on the block above the starter. Jackpot!
