I was replacing the coils because one was cracked. I had to heat the bolts off because they were gaulded. When I got the bolts out I noticed the holes were badly rounded and enlarged, that with the fact that the previous owner welded patches to the control arms because of the rust problems. I figured it was unsafe,so I decided to replace the arms.
I had a friend over last night, and we dropped the drive shaft, and that gave us the room to adjust the axle enough to get the control arms to fit.
