Front seal on a 235 is a one piece rubber lip seal with a metal retainer. Pulling just the balancer may let you change just the front seal. If you have to replace the timing cover gasket you will have to pull the oil pan to get to two screws that enter the timing cover from the back.
The 59 235 should be able to use the two piece rubber seal on the rear.
