Well, I have never been wrong before. I take that back, I was wrong once before. It was when I thought I was wrong, but I really wasn't. My recall isn't what it used to be and since I did this:

In looking at it, yeah, it doesn't belong there. It took me awhile to decide what resistor value was needed for an LED instead of an incandescent, but yeah, no diode for incandescent. The schematic above works flawlessly, but I have no idea how I managed that!
