| | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,102 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,102 | All small block V-8's (265 through 400) have the same physical dimensions. 55 & 56 V-8's used a log manifold and later TF trucks used rams horn manifolds. Either would work well and have no clearance issues with the steering box. However, if you are asking about headers and not manifolds that's a different story. Many aftermarket suppliers make headers and likely some will fit while others may not. You would have to check their specifications as to what specific applications are suitable for your truck.
