It looks like the factory green colors used on Chevrolet trucks in 1951 were:
Forester Green, used 1947-1952
Seacrest Green, used 1947-1952
Brewster Green was used 1936-1948 (and again in 1957)
Channel Green was used 1947-1949
Juniper Green was used 1954-1955
Ocean Green was used 1953-1955 (one list says 53-57)
Forest Green was used in 1956
I do not see Hunter Green or Aspen Green in the lists that I have.
It looks like you have two choices and, as you say, Forester Green (quite dark) is distictly different from Seacrest Green (lighter and with a little blue).
It is hard to trust old paint chips (and new pigments giving the same color as the original). Are you able to get a computer match on the places with newly exposed original paint (probably not because of the piece being the cab)?
