| | | | Joined: Apr 2006 Posts: 273 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2006 Posts: 273 | Lacquer thinner softens up the old gasket and you can get it off with plastic scraper after about 5 minutes.
One thing though - the old gasket will be "gummy" so keep a couple of rough shop rags nearby.
