Been reading various posts concerning the Rochester "B" carburetor, the Carter "YF" carburetor and the Zenith carburetor. Why are the Rochester "B" carburetors looked down on versus the Carter or Zenith carburetors. I have a Rochester "B" on my 1949 Chevrolet 1/2 ton with the 216 cu.in. engine and have not had a problem with the Rochester, even after rebuilding it.
