I ran some old but never used bias ply Goodyear 8x19.5 tires on my 52 one ton 12 years ago. They looked brand new and had been stored inside for about 20 years I think it was. After about 10 or 15,000 miles they started shucking chunks off the tread.

So if the price is right get them, (mine were free) but if you have to pay much at all I'd pass and get newer tires.
