I'll admit I'm working from an exploded diagram from the repair manual. We were careful upon disassembly working on a large steel table that's 'tilts' toward the middle. We have looked to identify all the parts and they are not there unless they are somehow attached to a gear face and we missed them. We were thinking the tranny had 'eaten them', or left out in a previous rebuild. All the parts have been through a good cleaning so are squeaky clean. I'll look again and get back to you as the guy who is helping me is out of town tommorrow getting an update on his '54 build.
