Be careful when considering adding a hardener to paint you intend to remove at a later date unless you know exactly what you'll have to do to take it off.
I was doing some body work on a (deleted) one time and ran into paint that literally defied a sandblaster. Finally had to use aircraft paint stripper - and it took three applications to remove the paint!
