There were T-5s made with 1st gear approaching granny gear ratio, which you would need with a 3.55 rear. Some were also available with 0.86 overdrive which is all you would need with that 3.55 rear (0.72 would be too much overdrive). Other than that, the shifts between all 5 gears are close together so you should never have a lugging condition even on less than flat roads.
