The 216 plus the 3.55 rear end will probably limit your 5th. gear driving to level roads and/or downhill. The engine will have noticeably less torque at highway speeds and you'll end up downshifting more often. You should expect gas mileage to suffer, as you'll be in a low manifold vacuum situation more often, with the power valve in the carburetor open.
