I had the drawers under the seat pedestal on my project done by a Duct maker who loves his job. I am absolutely going to call them, give them the new cardboard version and have a few made if they will do it. Great Idea! Not opposed in general to fiberglass, but IMHO and just MY opinion, not that fiberglass isn't a great answer, Fiberglass doesn't belong on a 1950 Chevy Truck. Neither does CARDBOARD! LOL!
M-E-M-O-R-I-E-S: Mouse crap, walnut shells, upholstery cotton, etc, etc living in the cardboard glovebox. If a mouse/rat/opossum can eat through it, it's OUT!
