All you need to do is clean it and spray light coats until covered. Look at the november '02 issue of STREET ROD BUILDER for some spray bomb tips, some of which include VHT paint. The stuff worked on my old small block (can I use that word--small block?) and I had that for about 2 years with no problems. Hope this helps.
