Powder coating is expensive her-I'm undecided at this time. Started to install the door handle ferules today- along with installing the side glass. I have new rubber/steel channel/whiskers too, but right off the bat, I found out the hole for the handle in the passenger door is not large enough for the ferule. Looks like someone has worked on that hole before. Now I'll have to carefully try and open it up some before I try pressing the new ferule in (fr China- its very light). I ordered the windlace for the glass, and its one piece, but does not cover the whole channel from bottom w/glass down to the top. I'm under the impression that the windlace does not attach to the top of the door frame- other has stated that and I'm pretty convinced- plus I dont have enough to do it anyway!
