The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area General Truck Talk Tires and Wheels for a 1949 Chevy 3600

Need tires for my 1949 Chevy 3600, still have the old 8 lug split rims with 235/75/15 tires mounted. This is a daily driver, most weeks I drive at least a 100 miles, what would be the best tire size to buy ? and should I replace the split rims? If so with what? Thanks!
