the other day i was out at a friends place helping him move alot of the old iron thats been piling up behind the bodyshop .

with the rain and the wet ground , it's a good thing the tow truck has 4wd and that big ol diesel engine, we got alot of the stuff moved and i think for the first time in several years organized...

the reason i'm posting this is the fact that a '37 ford deluxe front clip popped up out of the weeds and stared at me for most of the afternoon.

i know that there are alot of you guys/gals that would never even bat an eye at swapping this front clip onto the '45 chevy 1/2 ton that i have picked up a few weeks back, but hot rodding was always the idea behind this truck for me,and i think the best front clip that says hot rod would be the '37 ford teardrop headlight fenders and long swoopy grill .

much different than the long nose and big headlight pots the truck has now, the second thing that i was messin' around with is the roof of the truck anyone here chop one down , or make one a convertable ???

or do you know of anywhere i could find info in a similar project with photos
