I am greatful for all of your help/advice.This website rules.MARTINSR thnks for the online welding class.I think i will print your post and keep it in my shop 4 referance through this project .As for Metalmans first suggestion (to find another cab)he is right and i have looked around but to no avail,you see it must be a five window.I have found some pretty decent cabs but the 5window seemes to be a rarety around here.the other thing is I live near the Great Salt Lake,Utah.Salt is one of the cheepest things around thease parts,and in winter the roads are salted to death some to the white point and this has been going on 4 ever-point being that most unrestored vehicles of this age are in a simalar condition.So as crazy as it is i will restore my 5window,also i plan on posting a step by step photo of the project to possibly help others,so they can see what to do or not to do.as i have from a few i have seen on this sight.thanks for takeing the time to reply Aaron
