i figured the same thing ( maybe brass too soft for the big discs) but i looked them up and they are available in brass or steel....
there is also a larger cup style steel one and several small cups in steel. haven't looked to see where they go yet...
Are you confident you whacked them well enough to stay in? i'd hate to have the one under the bell housing decide to pop out...
