I hope you can get it figured out quick. I've heard of stuck carb needles causing a cylinder to fill up with gas, or a head gasket allowing the cylinder to fill up with coolant. Hopefully your starter isn't strong enough to bend a rod. That's what happened on my 2004 Silverado.
That cost me over $70 to fix.
At least Chevy parts are pretty cheap.
