You will be trading off low speed and midrange performance for better full throttle. One of the effects of going to a carb with a larger venturi is a drop in velocity through the venturi and less, not more fuel is delivered due to the low velocity until the engine RPM is well into the cruising range. You will have to feather-foot the gas pedal to pull away from every stoplight to avoid bogging down and/or lean backfires. Top end will be better, however, but gas mileage will be terrible due to the power valve being open due to low manifold vacuum through most of the RPM range.
